JUNIOR DAY BASEBALL | Charlotte, NC

Junior Day is designed for high school baseball players that want to work directly with college coaches in an on-field environment. The event is for those players who are focused on becoming college baseball student-athletes or want to learn more about that process. The camp will feature quality instruction from active college coaches, evaluations provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process, and a Seminar on Recruiting and the College Experience for both players and parents. The Junior Day Prospect Camp and Showcase will feature measurements and instruction on the latest metrics in baseball such as batted ball exit velocity, throwing velocity, running times and others. The college coaches on site will not only provide these metrics verbally but will also instruct the campers on how to improve them. The camp is open to all high school baseball players and is restricted in enrollment. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 8:1. These camps are in compliance with all NCAA rules.

• The Pitching / Catching Session will run from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
• The Infield / Outfield Session will run from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
• The Hitting Session will run from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

All campers and their parents from every session will have the opportunity to participate in the Seminar on Recruiting and the College Experience. This seminar will be part of each session throughout the day, when done in person. Multi session registrants will only need to attend one of these discussions.
  

Each Session will consist of instruction in the following areas; skill work, strength work, mental training, metric based testing and instruction as well as education about the recruitment process. All skill work will be in direct small groups, one-on-one or at times a large group instructional setting. All information and instruction will be age specific. The cost of the camp will be $189 for one session, $289 for two sessions or $339 for three sessions. Space is limited. These sessions are expected to fill quickly.

Our goal for a player-to-coach ratio is 6:1 but will not exceed 8:1.

• A post camp profile with all metric based information that was taken from the camp. This will be emailed after the camp is completed directly to the email that was used during registration. This is provided as a courtesy and not considered part of the camp tuition.
• Instruction from all college coaches attending the event.
• Opportunities to ask questions about their skills and get to know the college coaches.
• One-on-one and small group instruction.
• An open seminar about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations presented virtually or in person.
• All campers will be numbered so the coaches can identify each player.

Each player will receive a personalized profile from the event listing all metrics and stats that were registered by the staff. In addition, players will receive verbal feedback from the different levels of college baseball represented at the camp. Coaches will evaluate each player based on their experiences at their level of college baseball and give feedback when appropriate. This will allow each participating baseball player the opportunity to get a much clearer idea of where their skills may fit at the college level.

To encourage interaction between the coaches and players, we highly recommend players to ask questions of the staff and obtain any and all information they would like to know. The verbal evaluation is designed to be informative but not restrictive. Each Junior Day Regional can differ slightly when it comes to the feedback given but generally speaking players will be evaluated in areas of the game such as: arm speed (velocity), ball exit speed off of bat, 60-yard dash, home to first base, and throwing accuracy. Players will also be instructed in improving the skills areas that they are having evaluated. Through dialogue with the coach’s players will be provided with information that they can use to compare and contrast where they stand with current college baseball players
